With small beginnings in 1990 for a few groceries and locally made crafts, we have expanded our inventory to include a wide variety of gift items and craft supplies to provide for the needs of Native American crafters within a 60 mile radius.

In keeping with the "General Store" title for the business, Headquarters maintains a line of grocery staples, a small cafeteria area with warm foods during the work week which area employees take advantage of, video rentals and even auto batteries for sale. The comment is often made "you really do have everything here!"

Crafters from the Stockbridge-Munsee, Menominee, Oneida, and HoChunk Tribes and Canadian heritage provide many of the handmade items for sale ranging from barrettes, key-chains, earrings, necklaces, dreamcatchers, leather pouches, moccasins, hand carved canes and walking sticks, cribbage boards, baskets, lamps, and other unique decorative and apparel items.

This past Christmas we gave "gifts" to our customers.  The gifts were reusable tote bags - our shot at trying to save the planet.  Each bag was numbered, and we've been picking numbers pretty frequently.  We'll try something a little different through the end of May.  We've picked fourteen numbers - if you have the right bag, please stop by before June 1st and we'll be happy to give you your prize.
